"Uzun ince bir yoldayım" is one of Aşık Veysel's best known works and is still popular among fans of Turkish folk music.[1] (Wikipedia)

After my dad passed away in summer 2019 this song made it from my subconscious into my active mind, as it was aimlessly floating around in my brain - waiting to be left free.
So I learned it on guitar and started performing it here and there. It took it´s own time to develop and a while after I was inspired to add an english verse.

"Intro in Emin" was supposed to be an Interlude. I was thinking about some choirs some interesting progression.
It became three things:
1.) The song where I finally learned the technique of palm-muting on guitar.
2.) a full song over the years while performing it solo in various settings.
3.) an expression of lingering confusion about the state of the world and an understanding of my own neurodiversity.

This performance was supposed to be that: a performance. Then I decided to release it. Because I like the rawness of it.
